At your Initial Consultation, you’ll have a detailed discussion with your chiropractor about your most concerning problem or pain, as well as your trauma history and a review of lifestyle factors. If this consultation is for your child, we’ll also get into perinatal details, birth history, growth and development. Finally, we will talk about your goals for care – essentially, why you’re here and what you’re motivated to achieve with our help, and why that is important to you.
Please arrive 15 minutes early and allow for a total of 45-60 minutes with us.
Following your discovery discussion, we’ll take two or three INSiGHT Scans (number of scans depends on age) and functional X-rays (if clinically necessary), as well as perform any other relevant neurostructural tests.
X-rays, if needed, can be done onsite at the time of your consultation.
Your chiropractor will take time to review your case (or your child’s) in detail, to determine how we can help and create a tailored plan that fits your goals relative to the findings of your assessment.
Your chiropractor will provide an educational explanation of the results of your assessment, and then present you with a clear plan of action built towards achieving your goals. If we don’t think we can help, or we would like to suggest a referral to another practitioner, this will be discussed here at your report.

Once you’re happy with the plan and pathway forward, your care plan of adjustments begins. This stage of care is often a more intensive phase of deep work, including regular chiropractic adjustments and oftentimes some suggestions to make small but sustainable changes to your lifestyle.
Each person’s journey will look a little different, as it is always based upon your individual presentation when you meet us and the outcomes you’re aiming to achieve. As with most things in life, the more committed you are to the process, the greater the results and fulfilment you will experience.
